VSPT Wine Group rounds up the year’s outstanding results with recognition as “Winery of the Year 2014” by the Wines of Chile Association. The award was granted during the opening ceremony of the 2014 Wine Gala, that the consortium organizes each year.
The award comes in light of important advances in several areas, such as winemaking excellence, commercial performance, and sustainable management. The progress is clear. In terms of sustainability, the winery was selected as “Ethical Company of the Year” at the beginning of the year, and came in at second place for “Green Company of the Year” in the 2014 Green Awards, a competition organized each year by the British magazine: The Drinks Business.  The winery has stood out for its winemaking consistency, through a host of accolades and outstanding scores across national and international specialist media. This has enabled the winery to achieve significant progress and results in merchandising the wines both at home and abroad.
The “Winery of the Year” accolade was awarded to the President of Viña San Pedro Tarapacá, Mr. Pablo Granifo and CEO Mr. Pedro Herane, by the Wines of Chile President, René Araneda.
