Gran Reserva 140 Años
D.O.: Valle del Maipo
Viña Tarapacá celebrated its 140 years of tradition with a wine that combines two different sectors of the Tarapacá Estate in a blend of 75% Cabernet Sauvignon from an east-west facing block and 35% Syrah from blocks located next to the cold waters of the Maipo River. This wine was aged for 20 months in French oak barrels.
Crimson red in color, this is a ripe, fruity and complex wine, with notes of raspberry, cassis, leather and honey, and spicy notes of black pepper and clove, along with soft touches of truffle and vanilla. The palate is bold, with lively acidity that adds freshness, tension, balance and persistence. A wine full of subtlety and promises a long finish thanks to its firm, fine tannins.
