Gran Reserva

Etiqueta Negra Carménère

D.O.: Maipo Valley

Climate: Facing north, the rows of vines from which this wine grows run from east to west. The bright days are influenced by the cool afternoon breeze that moderates the high temperatures of the day. Overnight, these temperatures can drop by as much as 20ºC compared to the daytime peak.

This Carmenère comes from the “Los Cardenales” soil series, which produces full-bodied wines with round, succulent tannins. The wine is aged for 12 months, with 70% of the wine aged in French barrels and the remaining 30% in lightly toasted French oak foudres.

Intense and deep ruby red in color, the wine presents a delicate, complex nose with a lot of character from Carmenère del Valle del Maipo, with plum, black cherry, blackberry and cassis aromas, along with hints of hazelnuts, dark chocolate and coffee, from aging in oak.

On the palate it is delicate, velvety, concentrated, elegant and of great depth and aging potential.

Serve between 16-18ºC
