Our Merlot is influenced by cold morning and afternoon breezes as well as the freshness from the Maipo River. By about 6 p.m. each evening this area is almost entirely covered by the shadow of the eastern hill, making temperatures even cooler.
It possesses a beautiful carmine red color and has an expressive and elegant nose. It presents ripe aromas of black cherry, plum and blackberry, spicy notes of black pepper, tobacco and herbs. The meso-climate of the area undoubtedly contributes to such aromas. The soils provides a velvety and round mouthfeel, with a medium body, and soft, ripe tannins.
